SoundCloud Groups
SoundCloud remains a key platform for music discovery, especially in niche genres within electronic music. We've harnessed this potential by creating groups where artists can gain support through reposts, tailored to their specific genres.
Thanks to short-form platforms and the rise in unofficial audios/bootlegs, user activity is higher than ever before. For the past decade, Artist Influence has created a curated, equitable space for artists to garner support on SoundCloud, at no cost.
We're at the heart of a thriving music community, managing over 50M+ artist and label accounts, including renowned names like The Chainsmokers, R3HAB, Zomboy, Matt Ox, San Holo, and more.
Our Guidelines.

Tailored Repost Frequency: Your repost frequency is determined by your follower count relative to the total group followers.

FAQs

SoundCloud is THE go-to streaming platform for music discovery, especially in underground niches in electronic music. Thanks to short-form platforms and the rise in unofficial audios/bootlegs, user activity is higher than ever before. Data doesn’t lie. The IMS Business Report of 2024 states that SoundCloud saw it’s key role in electronic music culture and fan communities grow even further in 23/24. One in three songs uploaded on SoundCloud are electronic, with the genre growing by over 24% in the past year. SoundCloud is both consolidating and expanding its long-term position as one of the global homes of electronic music fan communities.

Sign in to your SoundCloud account through https://influenceplanner.com/user/invite/artistinfluence - we’ll then approve you to join on our backend and send you the submission form so you can start gaining support!

The only records reposted to your profile are from members of the group, as well as an occasional promo record that MUST match the quality of the group, otherwise, we'll support the record to different profiles that make sense. Expect about 2-4 promos per month, all genre-aligning, and no random artists. Here's an example of a recent paid campaign we would have run for Dance Pop. We run occasional songs from artists outside the groups to offset the cost of running a network as large as ours. All of these songs are genre-aligning and go through the same quality test as member submissions do. If the song isn’t good or doesn’t fit, we don’t push it to our network.
-
Each submission is reviewed by an in-house curator to make sure it is objectionably good. We do not expect members to love every song reposted to their profile, but if the song is objectionably good and aligns with the supporting artist’s niche(s), it’s approved.
-
You can see your reposts per month in your group Airtable dashboard. However, assume an account below 75k renders 1 repost per month, 75k-200k renders 2 reposts per month, and 200k+ renders 3 reposts per month.
-
As long as the song is live before 5 PM EST, we’ll find the song ourselves and schedule the support. If we cannot find your song, you will receive an email with the date of support asking to link the public streaming link to your song. If you do not get the live link to us before the EOD, you must re-submit the song.
-
Group submissions are on a first-come, first-serve basis. The member who submits first will get that date - if we have upwards of 3-4 releases on the same day, we may need to repost 2 songs per day on Friday, then the weekend or Monday.
-
All songs are scheduled in PST between 10AM-9PM.
-
Members can request a specific date, but not a specific time of day.
-
Right now we only have around 8-40 members per group based on how we niched them down, but we plan to keep on growing them over time. If you’re in a smaller group, you'll see far fewer reposts than what might be typical once we have 30-40 members in the group. Once the groups get to a saturation point, we'll niche them down further to keep reposts to 1 per day, 2 max during release season from May to September.
-
Yes you can, however, we ask any new members to join only one group to see how the works for at least a month. At that point, if you want to be in two groups, understand you’ll be supporting double the amount of songs for singular support on records.
I.e. you’re a producer who makes Tearout and Melodic DnB. You want to be in both groups, so you join. You have a tearout song coming out, so you can only push that to Tearout, not Melodic DnB since it doesn’t fit the artist roster.
-
Whenever we see an account disconnected, we reach out to the member to re-authorize their API token on Influence Planner. If they do not reconnect within 30 days of reaching out, they are removed from the groups.
-
All we can provide is the receipt link showing the accounts reposting a song at certain times. What you can see is a clear difference between artists’ streams who are a part of the groups vs who are not - those who are part of the groups have higher average streams, and higher engagement rates. The performance of a song depends on how the people receive it - some songs do great, others less so.

We can see how often members are submitting to ensure no member is over-submitting songs.

No. If the song is objectionably good and fits a members’ niche, they cannot opt out of reposting the song.

Yes - we try to bring as many opportunities to members of our groups as possible in the form of remix opportunities, label demo drops, promotion discounts, marketing resources, and more.
